by Midwest Real Estate News Reports Tim Olsen recently joined the industrial sales and leasing division at Minneapolis' Colliers Turley Martin Tucker as a senior associate. He will team with industry veteran Mark Sims.
Working on behalf of a portfolio of institutional owners, major developers and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Olsen specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial properties in the Twin Cities area. Before joining Colliers, Olsen worked as an associate with NAI Welsh. He earned Welsh's "Rookie of the Year" award in 2008.
"I am very excited to have Tim on the team," said Mark Sims, principal and senior vice president. "Tim has not only put his mark on the Twin Cities commercial real estate industry with his accomplished list of transactions, but in his four years in the business has solidified great working relationships with some of the market's most prominent owners, developers and users."
Olsen has worked on many significant assignments including the 700,000-square-foot Pacal Business Center, 175,000-square-foot 93rd Avenue Industrial Center, 172,000-square-foot Roseville Distribution Center and 100,000-square-foot Energy Park Corporate Center for clients such as American Realty Advisors, Bristol Group, Best Buy, CSM Corporation, Duke, First Industrial and Ryan Companies.
Olsen is a graduate of St. Cloud State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business economics. He is also an active member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors, the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association and the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce.
