Kansas’ Astoria Healthcare Properties makes pair of key hires

Leawood, Kansas-based Astoria Healthcare Properties, LLC has made two key hires: Jon Dandurand is the company’s new chief executive officer while Rachel Treanor is Astoria’s new director of business development and marketing.

Dandurand and Treanor are joining an established team of finance, real estate, construction and business professionals respected in their fields for helping clients invest, build and achieve their healthcare real estate objectives.

Dandurand brings career perspective gained over 12 years to drive strategic business and company growth goals. His leadership style drew the attention of Jeremey Tasset, chief executive officer at Nueterra Capital, Astoria’s parent company.

Dandurand has worked for multiple Fortune 500 real estate and construction companies, including JE Dunn, Deere & Company and Bank of America.

Treanor joined Astoria in late 2020 and draws on her 20-year architecture, engineering and construction industry background to build and reinforce corporate relationships and create business opportunities. She focuses on three industry verticals – affiliate partnerships, current joint ventures and third-party physicians and health systems – and relies on her technical background to support the firm’s short and long-term growth goals.

She serves as an Astoria connection to the development and land acquisition teams and the financing and construction divisions. Treanor recently completed the Real Estate Development Initiative with the Urban Land Institute and received the MVP award for her class.
