Mark Filippini joins workspace innovation company, The Instant Group

Mark Filippini has joined The Instant Group, a global flexible workspace specialist. Filippini comes aboard as business director and will be based in the firm’s new Chicago office.

“As a hub for the insurance, automotive, supply chain and healthcare sectors, the Midwest is becoming increasingly attractive for flexible workspace opportunities, and we are focused on expanding in the region,” said Michelle Bodick, managing director, sales and marketing (Americas) for The Instant Group. “Mark’s real estate and tech experience, along with his sense of adventure and work ethic, will be a boon to our growing U.S. team. He joins our incoming CEO Americas, Joe Brady, in launching our Chicago office.”

Filippini will focus on growing Instant’s U.S. business with a focus on developing the Chicago market and broader central region. He will work with C-suite executives and their teams to develop property solutions that maximize value delivered by Instant and educate clients on how to navigate and deliver flexibility within their real estate portfolios.

He comes to Instant with an impressive track record as an accomplished broker and tech executive with 10 years of experience across both sectors. He closed more than $15 million in multifamily real estate transactions with Triad Real Estate Partners, and he also received recognition as a top-performing sales person in the tech industry with both Techweek and Click5. He is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois and a salesperson in both Iowa and Wisconsin.

Outside the office, Filippini is equally tenacious. He is an avid skier who was a sponsored athlete who earned the coveted Sickbird award while on the Freeskiing World Tour, which he competed in for five years. He continues to ski and coach.

“I am excited to join Instant, and was drawn to the smart and passionate people within the organization and mission to provide flexible property solutions for clients,” said Filippini. “Instant is helping to innovate the office sector, helping large and small companies alike modernize their cultures with flexibility and agility, and ultimately helping their bottom lines in the process.”
