Kraus-Anderson has completed a new Hornbacher’s grocery store at Interstate-94 and Sheyenne Street in West Fargo, North Dakota.
Designed by Short Elliott Hendrickson architects, the 61,000-square-foot grocery store includes an in-store pharmacy, Caribou Coffee and 3,458-square-foot wine and spirits store. A seating mezzanine overlooks the sales floor, which features fresh produce, deli and bakery, meat department with smokehouse and full-service meat and seafood, flower shop, sushi, popcorn shop, juicery, and walk-in storage coolers and freezers.
Hornbacher’s opened its first store in Moorhead in 1951 and has been a fixture in the community by supporting many civic, educational, arts and non-profit organizations. Hornbacher’s is regarded in the area for its fresh offerings include meat and seafood, produce, home-made deli salads and made-from-scratch baked goods.
Hornbacher’s operates supermarkets in Fargo and Moorhead, Minn. The West Fargo store is the company’s 8th location.
