Chris Patraw, project manager with Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, has been re-elected president of the Wisconsin Healthcare Engineering Association, Chapter VI.
Patraw holds the designation of Certified Healthcare Constructor by the American Hospital Association. The CHC is a national credential that distinguishes an individual as being among the elite in the healthcare construction. Patraw also holds a Health Care Constructor certificate from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering.
Patraw’s healthcare construction covers a diverse range of complex projects, having contributed to the success of preconstruction and construction services for multi-year expansion projects at four major regional medical centers in the past 15 years, including the 418,000-square-foot, critical care hospital addition at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wis.; University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn.; Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa; and St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Neb.
Patraw also is experienced in the coordination and interface with hospital staff for major multi-year phased expansion and renovation projects. In addition, his knowledge includes the management of infection prevention issues in healthcare settings.
