J.C. Anderson has completed an office renovation for Fortune Brands Global Plumbing Group (GPG) at the Merchandise Mart, 222 W. Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago. GPG is a division of Deerfield, Illinois-based Fortune Brands Home & Security, Inc. with a portfolio of global kitchen and bath brands including Moen, Riobel, Perrin & Rowe and The House of ROHL.
The project consisted of J.C. Anderson building out two showrooms and a dedicated office space. Designed by Valerio Dewalt Train Associates, Inc., the new showroom is based on an inspirational story focused on the beauty of water and on technological innovation. The completed space features the art and science behind the brand including running water exhibits, an open, natural flow to encourage visitor interaction, new branding and signage and curved millwork backlit with blue LEDs to represent the concept of water.
“It was imperative to Fortune Brands Global Plumbing Group to establish a dynamic presence in the Merchandise Mart to elevate its brand and appeal to Millennials,” said J.C. Anderson project executive John Angelovich. “Our teams worked seamlessly together to achieve a space that fit their current and future space needs as well as tells the story of the brand.”
The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Angelovich along with project manager Matt Kantro and superintendent Glenn Panfil. CBRE provided project management services.
