Hutchinson Health, a hospital that is part of national healthcare organization HealthPartners, will break ground on a new patient wing at the facility in Hutchinson, Minnesota, on April 1. The ceremony marks the start of a one-year construction project that will add new and larger patient rooms to improve care delivery and patient experience.
Hospital leaders, board members and community representatives will be on hand to mark the occasion. The City of Hutchinson approved the project in January.
The expansion will add more than 17,000 square feet to the hospital’s footprint, and will include 18 patient rooms that are twice as big as the current rooms. Additional space will be available to add four more patient rooms in the future, depending on patient demand.
