Kimley-Horn recently announced the promotion of three individuals from the firm’s Midwest offices. Promotions within the consulting firm include:

J.J. Morton was recently promoted to Senior Vice President. Morton joined Kimley-Horn in 2000 and specializes in aviation consulting services for airports across the country. As one of the firm’s aviation leaders, he oversees the firmwide marketing, business development, management, design, and production of national airport projects. His experience includes projects at major airports, including O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Michigan, and Jackson Municipal Airport in Mississippi, among others.

Bill Butz was recently promoted to shareholder. Butz was hired in 2014 to launch and lead Kimley-Horn’s Indianapolis office in a new market for the company. He is a well-respected leader to the team he manages, and a trusted partner to his clients. Growth under his leadership increased by 226% between 2015 and 2016. His practice includes projects in the Indianapolis area for industrial, residential, and retail development.

Scott Willson was recently promoted to shareholder. Wilson joined Kimley-Horn in 2012 and has become a senior leader in Chicago, helping others advance their careers as well as supporting the growth of the Chicago offices during the last five years. In addition to increasing the land development market share locally, Wilson has focused his attention on serving clients around the country using many of his national relationships within the firm, which he has cultivated during his relatively short time with the company.
