Envoy Net Lease Partners hires Eric Spokas as COO

Envoy Net Lease Partners, LLC, a real estate finance company specializing in single-tenant net leased commercial properties, has appointed Eric Spokas as chief operating officer, effective immediately. Spokas brings more than 25 years of banking and real estate finance experience, with an extensive background in commercial lending, Small Business Administration (SBA) loan programs, operations management credit risk and compliance.

As Envoy’s COO, he will be responsible for taking the company’s commercial real estate transactions from term sheet to closing as well as overseeing the asset management of the company’s loan and property portfolio. Prior to Envoy, Spokas was president and CEO of Chicago-based SomerCor, a Top 25 nationally ranked Certified Development Company (CDC) where he oversaw a loan portfolio of nearly $500 million.

Cram, president of Envoy. “With his background in running a lending organization, Eric will allow Envoy to grow faster, helping us increase deal capacity while streamlining the lending process.”

Envoy has closed 54 transactions nationwide since 2013, involving more than $130 million of project costs. The Northbrook, Illinois-based firm was co-founded by Cram to provide up to 100 percent financing to developers of build-to-suit or redeveloped net lease single tenant medical, industrial, office and retail properties.
