Katie Haywood has been promoted to first vice president in the St. Louis office of CBRE.
Haywood joined CBRE St. Louis in 2016 and immediately made an impact on CBRE’s industrial practice, pushing the company to the top spot in industrial market share. In 2018 alone, she has been involved in more than 5 million square feet of industrial transactions, including a record 2-million-square-foot deal for the St. Louis market, the two new 1-million-square-foot buildings in Gateway Commerce Center.
Haywood is also responsible for filling the new construction that is rejuvenating Fenton Logistics Park, the site of the former Chrysler plant, and Aviator Business Park, the site of the former Ford Plant.
During her 13-year career, Haywood has specialized in representation for agency and occupier clients, as well as transaction management services for distribution centers, warehouses and manufacturing facilities, totaling more than 25 million square feet of transaction activity.
