CBRE appoints Scott Marshall as global chief client officer

CBRE has appointed Scott Marshall as the company’s global chief client officer. He will partner with CBRE leadership teams across its three business segments—advisory services, global workplace solutions and real estate investments—to ensure the company is measuring and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

“Scott is a client-first leader with a strong track record in client acquisition and client care. He has held a broad spectrum of leadership positions—serving both occupiers and investors—which makes him ideally suited to drive our global client care strategy,” said Jack Durburg, global chief operating officer, CBRE.

Marshall has held numerous executive leadership positions since joining CBRE in 2011, including Americas head of industrial and logistics and Americas president of investor leasing. Most recently, Marshall served as president and chief development officer at Hana, where he has helped to roll out CBRE’s flexible space offering that is designed to meet the needs of both property owners and enterprise-level and high-growth occupiers.

Marshall received a BA in business administration from Bradley University. He is actively involved in industry and community organizations including the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Chicago Chapter. Marshall also serves on the board of directors of Mend A Heart and is a past board member of the March of Dimes, Chicago-Area.
