Bailey Edward expands with three new hires

Chicago-based architecture firm Bailey Edward expanded its staff with the addition of three new employees in the Chicago and Champaign offices. David Kennedy, AIA, Matthew Lyons and Meghna Majethiya all recently joined the firm.

Kennedy joins Bailey Edward’s Chicago office as senior architect and mixed-use design leader. His designs of residential, multifamily and commercial buildings can be seen throughout the Midwest. His experience of nearly 40 years make him an inspiring new leader in the studio. Previously, Kennedy owned his own firm, PPK, for 23 years. His projects include affordable housing units, mixed-income developments and high-rise apartments. Kennedy has led design teams, business development efforts, client management and staff development on projects.

Lyons joins the Chicago office with 13 years of valuable experience in many different sectors including: commercial, mixed-use, multifamily, libraries, museums and performing art spaces. Originally from St. Louis, he pursued architecture at Drury University. Majethiya is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign master of architecture program.
