United Food and Commercial Workers Union moving from Park Ridge to Northwest Plaza

The Midwest health and pension plans of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union is moving its headquarters from Park Ridge to the Northwest Plaza office complex in Rosemont, where the group has signed a new lease for 20,688 square feet.
Jones Lang LaSalle Senior Vice President Rick Benoy completed the transaction on behalf of building ownership, a partnership including Fulcrum Asset Advisors LLC. Jon Springer, Paul Diederich and Gary Fazzio of CBRE negotiated on behalf of the union benefit plan, which covers full- and part-time workers in grocery stores, retail stores and nursing homes and in the food processing and meat packing industries.
Northwest Plaza is a 328,000-square-foot, Class B+ office complex located at 9701-9801 W. Higgins Road, between the Northwest Tollway (I-90) and the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) just minutes from O’Hare Airport.
