Next Realty closes 15,000 square feet of lease transactions at Chicago-area retail centers

Northbrook, Ill.-based Next Realty recently completed 15,000 square feet of retail lease transactions at centers it owns and manages in Niles and Wilmette, Ill.
Next Realty boasts a portfolio of about 12 centers in the Chicago area.
Among the leases most recently completed at Sports Authority Plaza in Niles, Ill., is American Mattress’ renewal of 3,000 square feet of inline retail space and Firestone’s lease of 5,800 square feet for a comprehensive tire center.
Sports Authority Plaza is a 120,000-square-foot power center anchored by Sport’s Authority, Michael’s, Big Lots and Lands’ End. Two spaces ranging from 1,200 square feet to 5,800 square feet are now available at the center.
At Wilmette Commons, boutique housewares retailer Chia’sso has completed a lease for about 5,000 square feet of space.
Wilmette Commons is a 35,000-square-foot retail center. The tenant mix here includes Chase Bank, AAA Travel, Love’s Yogurt and Palm Beach Tan.
