Colliers International represents Channel Distribution Corp. in Bensenville warehouse lease

David Bercu, principal with Colliers International’s Industrial Advisory Group in Chicago, represented Channel Distribution Corporation in a 67,982-square-foot new lease at 860 Thomas Drive in Bensenville, Ill.
This lease was one of the largest to be completed in the O’Hare market during the fourth quarter of 2010. The owner of the facility is AMB Property Corporation.
Itasca, Ill.-based Channel Distribution Company recently acquired the assets of Jaltrans Inc., a subsidiary of Japan Airlines. This acquisition has resulted in the need to expand from the company’s current location at 925 Thorndale Avenue in Itasca, where it leases 165,000 square feet.
Constructed in 1985, 860-888 Thomas Drive is a 201,492-square-foot warehouse building located in Bensenville Industrial Park near the intersection of York Road and Thorndale Avenue. The space leased by Channel Distribution features 17 docks and 24’ clear ceiling height.
Carter Andrus, vice president of leasing with AMB, represented ownership.
