Binswanger last year completed one of the largest industrial real estate lease transactions in Ohio for 2010. The long-term lease by the Kitchen Collection is for a property consisting of 475,000 square feet on 34 acres in Chillicothe, Ohio, about 40 miles south of Columbus.

The Kitchen Collection is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NACCO. The company sells discounted brand-name cookware, bakeware, small appliances, cooking tools and gadgets. It also sells kitchen products seen on TV, and decorative items through its roughly 210 stores in 40-plus states, as well as through its Web site. NACCO Industries’ brands include The Kitchen Collection, Hamilton Beach and Gadgets & More.

The transaction was handled by Rob Gemerchak, senior vice president for Binswanger.
