Paine/Wetzel completes sale

Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International has completed the sale of a 23,820-square-foot industrial facility located at 305 Cary Point Drive in Cary, Ill.

Durex International Corporation, the manufacturer of temperature sensors and electric heating elements, has purchased the former Coffman Manufacturing Corporation building to accommodate the firm’s expansion. Situated on a 1.8-acre site, the 23,820-square-foot building is conveniently located only one block from Durex’s main plant at 190 Detroit Street in Cary.

“The property sold at a very competitive rate allowing Durex to invest in adequate upgrades to improve the facility and bring it to a First Class production building,” stated G. Pat Ryan, senior vice president of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International, who represented the seller, Coffman Manufacturing Corporation, in the transaction. The buyer was not represented. This transaction marks the third property sold by Ryan in a two block area within Cary, Ill. It is also the ninth deal completed by broker in 2010 within 10-mile radius of this facility which includes the counties of McHenry, Lake and Kane.
