Inland announces three retail leases

Inland Real Estate Corporation has announced the signing of 19,168 square feet of new and expansion leases at three shopping centers in north suburban Niles and Skokie, Ill.

AutoZone signed an 8,008-square-foot lease at the Golf Road Plaza shopping center, located on West Golf Road adjacent to the Golf Mill Shopping Center in Niles. American Mattress signed a 5,455-square-foot lease at Four Flaggs Marketplace, located at the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Golf Road in Niles.

“We’re excited to welcome AutoZone and American Mattress, which adds two more proven retailers to our shopping centers,” said Fred Heichman, vice president and director of leasing for Inland Commercial Property Management, Inc. “The breadth and quality of our Chicagoland portfolio continues to attract strong brands that are expanding in the current market.”

The AT&T cellular store at the Shops at Orchard Place in Skokie, located adjacent to the Old Orchard Shopping Center, recently signed a lease to expand from 3,370 square feet to 4,570 square feet. In addition, Revive Chiropractic has leased 1,135 square feet at the center.

“It is a positive trend to see a large national retailer like AT&T expand their space at Shops at Orchard Place,” Heichman said. “We also welcome Revive Chiropractic, which adds to the variety of services offered at the center.”
