Jones Lang LaSalle has announced that TreeHouse Foods, Inc., a  maker of private-label foods, will move its corporate headquarters to a 48,000-square-foot space at 2021 Spring Road within the Commerce Plaza office complex in Oak Brook.

In addition, MetLife Bank N.A. has signed a lease for 14,200 square feet at 2015 Spring Road in the same complex. The two leases, totalling more than 62,000 square feet, bring the overall occupancy rate of the 555,500-square-foot Commerce Plaza to more than 84 percent.

Karla Harmon, a Jones Lang LaSalle Vice President, represented the property owner, Arden Realty, Inc., in both transactions. Commerce Plaza is one of five suburban office developments totalling approximately 3 million square feet that are leased by Jones Lang LaSalle for Arden Realty.

TreeHouse Foods is a five-year-old food manufacturer that services the grocery and foodservice channels with products including non-dairy powdered creamers, soups, salad dressings, salsa, sugar-free drink mixes, hot cereals, pickles, jams, and a variety of other food products. The company is relocating from the Westbrook Corporate Center in Westchester where it leased approximately 33,000 square feet.  The move to Commerce Plaza will allow the company to expand its space and consolidate on two contiguous floors.

MetLife Bank, meanwhile, is new to the Oak Brook marketplace.

TreeHouse Foods was represented by David Lind of CB Richard Ellis while MetLife Bank was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle.
