Paine/Wetzel completes three industrial leases

Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International has completed three industrial lease transactions totaling 50,340 square feet in Chicago.
In the largest transaction, Chicago Messenger is expanding its messaging service operations and has signed a lease 38,130 square feet within a 81,830-square-foot building located at 1120 West Exchange. The firm is relocating from 1600 South Ashland in Chicago and chose this facility due to its high ceilings; large, open bays; and close proximity to the Dan Ryan and I-55 expressways. Michael D. Nelson, vice president, and Mark A. Nelson, associate of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR represented the tenant in the transaction and Vern Schultz along with Mike Senner of Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler, Inc. worked on behalf of the landlord, The Missner Group.
Fellowship Fleet has signed a new lease at 438 W. 43rd Street for 6,210 square feet. The limousine service is relocating from its prior location at W. Polk Street, also in Chicago, and selected the newly remodeled building due to its clear span garage space with on-site parking and close proximity to downtown Chicago as well as I-90/94 expressways. Albert Schulman, senior vice president of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR represented the tenant in the transaction and Matt Rogatz, principal of Chicago Industrial Real Estate worked on behalf of the landlord, a private investor.
Robinhood Garcia is relocating his mattress company from 36th and California to a 56,000-square-foot building located at 3421 W. 48th Place, signing a new 6,000-square-foot lease. Garcia chose the location based on its loading capability, open floor plan and central location. Michael D. Nelson and Mark A. Nelson of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR represented the landlord, 3421 Building Corporation, in the transaction while the tenant was self-represented.
