P|C|S in Cleveland recently hired Bob Burichin the company’s full-time staff following Burichin’s three summer internships at the company. Burichin recently received his bachelor’s degree in construction management from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Burichin returns to P|C|S as an assistant project engineer, having worked with P|C|S for the past three summers as an intern in both the estimating and operations departments. Burichin spent his first two summers gaining experience with the estimating side of the company, while his work last summer involved on-site, day-to-day operations at Morgan High School in McConnelsville, Ohio.
Kevin Lawlor, executive vice president of P|C|S, said, “After three years as a summer intern for P|C|S, I’m very glad that Bob finally has his ‘big boy job’. That’s what Bob Burichin’s father, Tom, shared with me after Bob told him he had accepted a full-time position with P|C|S. For the past three years, Bob has brought enthusiasm and commitment to every assignment while working with us during his enrollment at BGSU. We know he will make a great addition to our on-site staff.”
Bob will begin his new tenure at P|C|S on-site at the Garfield Heights City Schools project assisting Pete DeVine and Leslie Wheeler. He will primarily assist with providing efficient flow of project related information, including the coordination of all contract documents and correspondence associated with cost and schedule related control functions. Bob will transition from Garfield Heights down to Southern Ohio for permanent placement on the Switzerland of Ohio Capital Improvements project located in Woodsfield, Ohio.
