Colliers International completes 304,000-SF industrial building sale transaction in Aurora

David R. Kahnweiler,  chairman and chief executive officer of Colliers International’s Chicago offices, represented Jel Sert in its purchase of 2380 Diehl Road in Aurora, Ill.

Matthew J. Stauber, principal and Brian W. Kling, senior vice president, also with Colliers, represented Invesco Real Estate, the investment advisor to the seller. The sale transaction closed on July 29th 2010.

Jel Sert, a manufacturer of freezer bars, desserts, and beverages, has its corporate headquarters in suburban West Chicago. The company required additional warehousing space close to the headquarters location.  The company will begin a phased occupancy beginning immediately and expects to occupy the entire building by February 2011.

Located in Aurora’s White Oak Business Center, 2380 Diehl Road is a 304,000-square-foot precast building constructed in 1995. It features 68 exterior docks, 68 levelers, and two drive-in doors.
