Summit Realty helps bring 72-acre health and wellness development to Indianapolis suburb

Residents in the Indianapolis area soon will have a single destination for health care and wellness services: Satori Pointe, a commercial development taking shape in Avon, Ind., a growing western suburb of Indianapolis.
The 72-acre Satori Pointe development will pull into one location health- and wellness-focused businesses, services and amenities ranging from physician practices and medical services to fitness-apparel retailers, natural and organic grocers and healthy restaurants. Serving as the gateway to the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA now under construction, the campus includes a fitness trail around the perimeter and adjacent park space and sports fields.
“In our busy lives, we all struggle to get everything done and, too often, one area that gets lost in the shuffle is health and wellness,” said Timothy Norton, an executive vice president with Summit Realty Group, which is marketing the development. “Satori Pointe will make it easy for residents to address a wide range of their health needs by pulling them all together in one place.”
Satori Pointe businesses will line the boulevard leading from US-36/Rockville Road to the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA facility that broke ground in December. That 122,000-square-foot project will offer physician and outpatient services as well as sports medicine, rehabilitation, therapy, lab and x-ray facilities alongside fitness amenities including indoor aquatics centers and a gymnasium. The project will be surrounded by outdoor green spaces and fitness amenities, as well as an outdoor education center.
“Satori Pointe is a perfect match with our project, which was conceived as a way to offer Hendricks County residents a one-stop opportunity to address their health and wellness needs,” said Hendricks Regional Health vice president of medical affairs, Dr. John Sparzo. “I believe it will be a model for health and wellness developments.”
Located in Indiana’s second-fastest-growing county, Satori Pointe will be convenient to hundreds of thousands of residents and provide access to a growing labor pool. Nearly 10,000 households lie within five miles of the development, and nearly 140,000 are within 10 miles. Located close to major interstates and key transportation arteries, it sits just minutes away from the Indianapolis metropolitan area.
Structured in five parcels, Satori Pointe is planned to include office spaces, medical offices, professional services, retail and multi-family/senior housing.
