Paine/Wetzel completes four lease transactions

Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International has completed four industrial lease transactions totaling 100,648 square feet in the Chicago metropolitan area.
In the largest transaction, Weiman Products, a furniture polisher manufacturer, has signed a lease renewal and extension for 64,148 square feet at 1655 S. Waukegan in the Amhurst Lakes Business Park in Waukegan, Ill.
The firm has occupied the facility since 2008 and chose to renew its lease based on the property’s close proximity to the expressways and overall building functionality for its warehouse and distribution requirements. Whit R. Heitman, principal of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International represented the tenant and the landlord, Prudential, with Samuel C. Badger, Jr., senior vice president of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International assisting in representing the landlord.
1300 Exchange Auto Storage has signed a new lease at 1300 Exchange Avenue in Chicago for 30,000 square feet. The auto repair and storage company is relocating from its prior location at 2550 W. Lexington Avenue, also in Chicago, and selected the new location based on its central location within the Stockyard’s Industrial Park as well as the large open space ideal for repairing and storing vehicles. Mark A. Nelson, associate of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International represented the tenant while Albert Schulman, CCIM, senior vice president, Michael D. Nelson, vice president, and Mark A. Nelson, associate of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR represented the landlord, 1300 Exchange LLC.
A truck driving school, owned by Jorge Torres, has signed a new lease for 3,500 square feet at 2247 W. 47th Place in Chicago. The start-up company will move into the location in early July and chose the 5.85-acre site based on its strategic location and large land site and office space. Michael D. Nelson, vice president, and Mark A. Nelson, associate of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR represented the landlord while the tenant was self-represented.
Reyes Group LTD has signed a 3,000 square foot lease at 5326 N. Kedzie in Chicago. The construction firm is relocating from 15515 S. Crawford in Markham, Illinois and chose the location based on its proximity to a CTA project that firm is currently working on. The office space will serve as an annex office. Kim Aigner, associate of Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR represented the landlord while the tenant was self-represented.
