Illinois’ McShane Construction finishes Kansas CVS

Rosemont, Ill.-based McShane Construction Company recently completed the 13,255-square-foot CVS/pharmacy retail store assignment located in Olathe, Kansas, on behalf of developer, CDI Development.
McShane began construction in September of 2009 and celebrated the grand-opening of the CVS/pharmacy retail store on June 27 of this year, providing an on-time completion to the developer. The event was attended by the development, design and construction teams, in addition to local dignitaries, business owners and residents.
The store’s architectural design remains consistent with existing CVS/pharmacy facilities. McShane constructed an attractive masonry finish featuring simulated stone accents and an exterior insulated finishing system. The interior of the store offers retail space and an L-shaped walk-in cooler, in addition to a fully-operational pharmacy featuring a convenient customer drive-thru.
