Podolsky Northstar completes building rep transaction

Door Connection has completed a lease renewal transaction for 14,154 square feet of space at 1400 Norwood Avenue in Itasca, Ill. Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International represented the landlord, KTR Illinois LLC, in the lease transaction.
Podolsky Northstar represents KTR Capital in approximately 1.5 million square feet of industrial building product in the O’Hare submarket.
Door Connection LLC, based in Itasca, is a wholesale distributor of architectural wooden doors/fire doors. The location was ideal for Door Connection LLC’s customer and supplier base. It has been a tenant of the building since 2006.
The building is a multi-tenant property that features 102,460 square feet of space, and offers close proximity to I-290, Route 53 and the Elgin O’Hare Expressway, as well as area amenities including restaurants, hotels and shopping. This lease renewal ensures that the building remains 100 percent occupied.
Adam J. Tarantur, assistant vice president, and Randy D. Podolsky, managing principal, both of Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International, represented KTR in the transaction. Larry Much and Kelly Disser of NAI Hiffman represented the tenant. Dapo Adedeji of Barack Ferrazzano provided legal services for KTR Illinois.
