Cassidy Turley promotes 14 in the Twin Cities

Cassidy Turley recently promoted 14 of its commercial real estate brokers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area during the first quarter of the year.

In the Industrial Services division, Ronald Scholder, who joined Cassidy Turley in 2002 and was the firm’s Industrial Broker of the Year for 2008 and 2009, was promoted to senior vice president.  Duane Poppe was promoted to vice president after serving the firm for nine years, and completing transactions on behalf of clients such as AMB, Bunzl, Cobalt Capital Partners, Ecolab, Hines, Meritex, RREEF and Waterton Associates.

Thomas Dunsmore, Timothy Olsen and Daniel Terry were promoted to associate vice president positions. Dunsmore, an industry veteran, joined Cassidy Turley in 2009 where he specializes in industrial sales and leasing in the West Metro submarkets.  Olsen, a newcomer to Cassidy Turley, joined the firm in 2009 and works the West and Northwest Metro areas on behalf of institutional owners, major developers and REITs.  Dan Terry joined Cassidy Turley in 2008, specializing in industrial sales and leasing in the Northwest market, and has successfully completed nearly 500,000 square feet of transactions in that two-year period.

Norma Jaeger joined Cassidy Turley in 2008, specializing in office sales and leasing in the West and Southwest markets, and was promoted to vice president.  Kai Thomsen, Cassidy Turley’s 2007 Office Broker of the Year, was promoted to vice president, too.

Joining Cassidy Turley in 2003, Brian Woolsey was promoted to vice president. He also serves as the president of the Minneapolis Chapter of IFMA, was a 2009 Office Market panelist for BOMA and was a featured presenter at the 2009 IFMA World Workplace conference.  Mark  Stevens and Anna Engstrom were promoted to associate vice president in the first quarter of 2010.  Stevens joined Cassidy Turley in 2006, and has completed lease transactions in excess of 1.75 million square feet.  Engstrom, a 2006 MNCAR Rising Star honoree, has been with Cassidy Turley for eight years, and was recognized along with Stevens as a member of the firm’s Mark of Excellence Project Team in 2009 for her work on the Grand Oak Business Park project.

Andrea Christenson is a restaurant and retail sales and leasing icon in the Minneapolis CBD, and was promoted to vice president in the first quarter of 2009.  Christenson was recognized as Cassidy Turley’s Retail Salesperson of the Year in 2007 and 2009, and in 2005 was named one of the Business Journal’s 50 Women to Watch, and received the Harriet Taubman Torch Award for Inspirational Leadership.  Molly Townsend joined Cassidy Turley in 2004, and she serves as a leader in the retail services division.  Townsend, who represents a wide range of retailers including Buffalo Wild Wings, Tires Plus and Weight Watchers as well as suburban retail landlords, was promoted to associate vice president.

Matthew Klein, a retail and industrial investment broker, joined Cassidy Turley in 2003 and received the firm’s Rising Star of the Year award in 2007. He was promoted to vice president.  Julie Lux, a broker specializing in multi-family, land and office investments, was promoted to associate vice president.  Lux and other Cassidy Turley team members were recognized for selling Riverview at Upper Landing Apartments in 2009, which garnered the 2009 MNCAR Investment Transaction of the Year.
