Another Midwest real estate company has joined the Colliers International brand, this time in Indianapolis.
Resource Commercial Real Estate in Indianapolis officially became Colliers International after formally partnering wit the international real estate firm in early May. The firm’s original five principals will continue to own and manage the company, but will adopt the Colliers International brand, platform and service model.
“We are delighted to join the Colliers family,” said Tim O’Brien, president and principal of Resource Commercial Real Estate, now Colliers International. “With this partnership, our clients gain access to a tremendous array of services, and we can offer clients a much broader network of nationally recognized commercial real estate professionals to assist clients with their property searches and transactions.”
According to a recent survey by the Lipsey Company, Colliers International is the second-ranked brand in commercial real estate. Colliers was also named as one of the top three real estate firms in the Global Outsourcing 100.
“Joining Colliers was a terrific cultural and strategic fit for us. We share their similar values and commitment to service quality and training,” said Sam Smith, chief executive officer and principal of Resource Commercial Real Estate. “We were also really impressed with their senior leadership vision, and passion for making Colliers International a global, as well as a local, leader in the eyes of our clients. Clearly their model is working.”
Colliers is the world’s second-largest commercial real estate services company with more 15,000 employees in 480 offices in 61 countries. It boasts revenues approaching $2 billion, according to the National Real Estate Investor List of Top 25 Brokerages Globally. Earlier this year, Colliers International announced that it will combine operations and global real estate services platforms with FirstService Real Estate Advisors.
“When we founded this firm five years ago, we were determined to consistently provide our clients with the highest level of service quality,” O’Brien said. “By becoming part of a centrally operated and well-respected firm with a best-in-class services platform, our existing and new clients will immediately benefit from the news.”
