We’re not that provincial in the Midwest

When outsiders think of the Midwest, they picture people who are pretty content to stay put. But as the experience of one Midwest-based real estate advisory company — specializing in working with healthcare clients — proves, Midwest businesses aren’t afraid to venture outside of “flyover country.”

In fact, Brookfield, Wis.-based Hammes Company isn’t just expanding its reach outside the Midwest, it’s expanding outside the country. The local firm recently created its own global business unit, a unit it’s calling Hammes Company International. You can read abut the firm’s past business dealings in such far-flung locales as Costa Rica, Malaysia and Portugal on our main REJournals.com site.

It’s just a bit more proof that the Midwest is home to just as many bold-thinking real estate companies as is either coast.
