St. Louis-based Mills Properties earned recognition as Management Company of the Year for the sixth time since 1998 during the annual St. Louis Apartment Association’s awards banquet.

The Rising Star Awards Banquet was held at the Westport Sheraton Chalet on April 23.  The banquet brings together multi-family management companies in the St. Louis area for a night of celebration and friendly competition.

This has been a year of substantial growth for Mills Properties.  The management company added nearly 3,000 apartment units to its multi-family portfolio in 2009.

“We are fortunate to have such talented associates who work hard and have fun, making our communities and company great;” said Kirk Mills, president of Mills Properties. “It is a tremendous honor to be recognized as a leader in the St. Louis apartment industry.”
